The Gunners' ten-match winning streak came to an end by Sunderland prior to the global hiatus, but can the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus AI, fans and a variety of guests.
For week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
Murs' new album, the new release, is out on the weekend.
Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful artist and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not planning a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "My team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or son decides to play instead."
The singer and his spouse his partner have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I will not force football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football side," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
The Blues may have to be patient for their star's comeback from injury but their offense is now stronger with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this fixture will be quite close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only home losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
Bournemouth have lost their past two games - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was previously Forest manager.
So, what on earth do I go with here - will it be West Ham continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to choose the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the campaign began, but they have surprised a several observers under their manager and are in good form with three in their last four matches.
A family member told me to select Bees forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
The forward will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had great fortune on the road this term, and Brighton are always strong at their stadium. The visitors will try to hit them on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a threat.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
The singer's prediction: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be rather close. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
Fulham have have lots of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
Regarding Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
Their display in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team rough up the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the close of October.
But I am not going to choose that. Instead, I truly need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be absolutely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a poor run... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
It is a tough one to predict. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
